Thank you very much. The Going Local blog is actually written by a number of people, so no one person can accept your praise. The theme is a free one called Atahualpa 3.5.3 and Tourism Victoria arranges the posts.

Thank you again for the compliments!

Undeniably believe that which you stated. Your favourite justification seemed to be at the web the simplest thing to take into account of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed even as other folks think about concerns that they just do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing with no need side-effects , other folks can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks

Hi Sam,

Early June is one of the most beautiful times of the year in Victoria. Spring is in full bloom and the weather is warming up and stabilizing for the start of summer usually in July. A visit in June would really reflect why we are known as the city of gardens. Hope to see you around!

Great choices! Victoria really is a book-lovers paradise, and there are more bookstores per capita in the capital region (and all concentrated in a central location) than in many other cities including our larger neighbour on the other side of Georgia Strait.

A favourite bookstore not on this list would have to be Snowden's Books on Johnson, just below Broad. They have fantastic collection of science fiction books.

The Crown Bookstore has recently moved to a new location on Government Street, right across the street from the Bird Cages convenience store (right along the route most visitors to Victoria take to get to Emily Carr House, Dallas Road, and Ogden Point).
